All the teaching materials above are produced by TLI itself.  In response to the recent increase in cross-strait communication between Taiwan and mainland China, TLI has published two versions of elementary and intermediate Mandarin teaching materials: the Taiwan version (traditional characters and Mandarin phonetic symbols) and the mainland Chinese version (simplified characters and Pinyin).

In addition to individual classes, TLI also offers small group classes of two to four students and group classes of five to ten students.  For example: Basic Oral Classes, Intermediate Oral Classes, Business Oral Classes and Television News Classes.  New group classes can be opened if there are enough students of the same level wishing to take a group class.
