TLI (Taipei Language Institute) was originated from New Jersey State, U.S. in 1956, founded in Taipei the same year, and expanded into mainland China in the last decade. TLI- Wangfujing Chinese Language Center in Beijing was officially re-opened in October 2006. The new center is conveniently located in Beijing's Wangfujing District, near Beijing Railway Station. This locale is one of the primary historical, business and political districts in Beijing and there are numerous restaurants and hotels, in the area such as the Beijing Hotel. The area is also a tourist center, where Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum are located.
TLI- Wangfujing Chinese Language Center has 24 classrooms of different sizes, including facilities for cultural studies in dance, flower arranging, music, painting and audio/visual production. Additional facilities within the vicinity include restaurants, gyms and shops.
